I have posted about this one before, but am now highly motivated to get it sold as we are moving out of state. I stopped working on this car 10+ years ago but it has at least been covered until today. I simply lost the love for the art of maintaining them, but they are still my favorite classic.
I bought this car in 2003 and proceeded to rebuild the engine, rebuild and install a 200-4R transmission, Primatech headers, carpet w/sound-deadening, and aftermarket AC. The engine that was in the car when I got it was a code SR that had a crack in the block. So, no, not numbers matching. Non-original 4bbl carb. My friend Stacy helped me with pan repairs and fashioning of a custom bracket for the AC compressor.
I also still have the original ST-300 and a bin of various spare parts such as water pumps, speedo, badges, manuals, etc. The last work I attempted was the installation of all-wheel disk brakes. This didn't go well but I avoided any one-way mods to the frame, control arms, etc. I should have the original brake parts if desired. All in all should be good bones and nothing missing.
The only damage I know of was caused by a driveway gate mishap when we were moving to this house. The driver door handle was pulled off the door. It should be minor metal work to repair, hopefully. The door still operates as before and opens easily with a push to the actuator in the hole.
