Does anyone have a 69 flapper assembly they can take some good photos of and measurements from? I heard a goat flapper may be altered to fit or if crafty enough one can be hand build from sheet metal/ aluminum.. cool

Any ideas? or does anyone make a repro of this?

These are that rare? hens teeth? Although bigfoot has never been seen either..somebody must have one..I figure they would be way too expensive to purchase.

Bob,

This is another "supply and demand" issue. Lots of people want them, but aren't willing to pay the price to get them since there is no tooling (that I know of) to start manufacturing them again at a price people were willing to pay.

Mark Shilling (in the Chicago/NW Indiana area) had some of these made up at one time. He was selling them as sets w/upper and lower pans for $2K+ a few years ago. I don't know how to get hold of him or if he still has any sets left.

I thought The Parts Place was offering them at one time, but not sure.

thanks Tom, I am really more interested in pix to see if one can be created at home. I'm not looking for a concourse car , just cool looking functional assmebly. you don't really see many 69 birds at cruise nights around here, never mind a 69 convertible with RAM air..
