I noticed quite a few members have the small signature pictures of their Firebirds in the posts. How is that done? Thanks.

I tried it first and had a huge pic there. I went to PhotoBucket and reduced it until it looked small enough.

I tried to stick in a full size pic thinking it would get resized here automatically. It just didn't show. Then I shrunk the pic using MS office picture manager, uploaded to photobucket, then pasted the tag into the signature.

I'll add one too. I reached back in the archives for the first known picture of my '68. "Cruisin' with my girlfriend"

Harry, I resized mine to 100 pixels wide. I think a little larger might be OK too.
Yep, that's my wife now.

My avatar doesn't even display anymore. I can't find where to modify it on this new forum software.

It is an issue with the update as the blank aviator has an incorrect URL reference. It is addressed in the next fix.

Host at photobucket and cut/paste the (IMG) code in your signature box. You may want to use photobuckets sizing to make them smaller first.

Doug, You'll find the answer in the fourm FQA. http://firstgenfirebird.org/ubb/ubbthreads.php?ubb=faq#htmlScroll down till you find "How do I add an image to my message?"I think this is what you're looking for.

I'm assuming you want to put a picture in with your signature? Right below your picture at photobucket there are three rows of codes. You need the bottom one. Highlight it and then right click and copy it. When you get to your signature box here at this site right click and paste. FIRST you need to choose edit at photobucket and make it smaller if you are going to use it as a signature picture. Goof around with it and see what you get.
The email pic you need to save it on your computer in docs or pics. Then when you are at photobucket hit browse and it will let you pick from docs or pics and find the picture and hit download.

Still can't figure it out but at least my new address is here now. But with only one photo I need to install the rest of my album. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow I can only stand so much comp. time.

Will we ever be able to use our own created avatars? I find them not only entertaining sometimes but they also make it easier to spot a users post when you're scrolling down through a long thread.
