Just as a reference, I removed all my emblems, and all though I cannot be sure wether or not they are originals, the bird emblems have a plastic inlay, which is glued in the frame. You can boil it out, and then it comes off in one piece.
I think its quite rewarding to restore the worn out emblems!
I also did the 326 hood emblems. I think the red and black colors are standard right?
