There is zero tolerance for bent pins/unseated modules. With power cord unplugged, remove both modules. Look at the sockets, something like 144 pins, it is possible to bend one pin and short the module or motherboard.
Try only one memory module, first in one socket then in the other. Be sure it latches into place firmly.
