Thanks for pointing out these threads. I guess I'm a bit "search impaired". I never would have thought that these quirky things are normal. I've had a 64 Cutlass, 68 Cutlass, 69 Camaro and never recalled seeing this kind of crazy stuff. The only thing that came close was that my fuel tank imploded on the 69 Camaro cause I used the wrong fuel cap.
