My wife had a villiager, actually it was a pretty decent minivan (due to the Nissan Maxima drivetrain) It had plenty of get up and go, no problems with the rear ac etc...sold it a few years ago to the wifes coworker at about 120,000 miles...and its still running. I love my ford trucks, but I did own a new 95 Exploder...and it went thru brakes faster than I could put em on. Other than that it was fine.
Having said that, my current 07 F150 Lariat must have been built on a Tuesday after a long weekend....2000 miles, it slowly died on a mountain pass...took em 2 weeks to figure it out...completely plugged catalytic convertor...must have been dropped at the plant.
Lots of rattles that had to be worked out including a new headliner...solenoid in the 4wd had a mind of its own...they kept telling me they couldn't diplicate the problem at the service place so they could not fix it....last month I was at the counter because climate control went weird, and the guy next to me had the identical truck, color etc and everything, complaining of the same sporadic clunk...so I told the service advisor, when you find out whats wrong with his, do the same to mine...they did and its OK now...LOL...idiots!
I'm off basic warranty now at 60,000km....so I hope thats the last of the issues...
