Next on the list was to put the doors back together. I started with the door latches. I had them soaking in mineral spirits for about a week. They still came out real dirty but made it a lot easier to clean up. After a couple of hours of cleaning. The passenger side door did not always open correctly. So after cleaning the latches all up I noticed a spring missing. I figured there was no way that I could buy this spring all be it's self so I made one from a throttle return spring. The spring on the left is the one that I made. Of course I had to look later in the day and you can buy the spring from Classic for under $5.00.
