A little closer. Trying to work on the car a few hours each week. The after market 400 hood had a couple of problems. But it will work just fine for me. The back section was lower than the cowel panel. A couple of sanding blocks and a little pushing on the sides and that was fixed, The latch was the same width from side to side as the latch opening. I used a big center punch to help with the roll bend and a little filing and that problem was solved. The front corners need a little tweaking up and down to meet the front of the fenders evenly. One will be fixed with the hood adjuster bumper and the other side will just need a little tweak down. I'm not happy with the fit in the back across the full width. Not much I can do about it though. I cannot widen the fenders out as it leaves to much of a gap with the cowel panel. All in all it was what I expected.
