I still have my factory AM/FM Multiplex Stereo in the '69 but the new head unit is in butt-ugly vinyl wrapped plywood box that came with the car. It is friction-fit between the bottom of the dash and top of the console, no fasteners needed. I want to find a new head unit that will fit in the glove box without removing the stereo's Multiplex component. I want to add MP3 capability and don't need CDs any more so size should not be a constraint.

And, of course, it needs a remote.
