Who can tell me the correct placement and type of spark plug wire brackets on a 1968 4 speed 400 Firebird engine? I know the driver side rear intake looks like this:


As for the passenger side, I am missing the rear intake wire loom, but have a picture of one here that I believe is correct. The question is, does the bracket attach to the intake like the first picture or to the distributor vacuum valve like the second picture.


Like your First photo. It gets bolted to the intake.


For the driver side 4 and 2 wire brackets, do they attach to the block or to the valve cover bolts?



They get bolted to the Head on the Driver side, just below valve cover. The front passangers is the only one that gets bolted to the valve cover.




I have seen them both ways. In the inlinetube catalog (who repos them), they show them attached to the valve cover bolts. I cannot post that here as it is a word document. Appreciate your input!
