I went on the nicotine patch and quit smoking 3 months ago John. It is working for me so far. 20+ year/ pack a day smoker.I'll assume the drug is like the patch i use in where it is a nicotine replacement therapy where the levels are reduced in stages until you are weined off.It is the mental warfare your mind plays with you that you will find most challenging (IMO) I feel great,breath and sleep so much better now but there are still demons lurking inside me that sometimes pop in and out and tempt me.Best of luck to you John.Be strong,you can do it!!!
