28 hours into this and I am DYING for anything with fire on the end of it!! I'll smoke a dead snake at this point if i can get some inhalation out of the darn thing!

Actually, all is well, and I am (for the first time in over 25 years) passing though my first day without a cigarette. No buying, no bumming, no ashtrays to dig through. Its all gone. I will never buy a pack of cigarettes again.

I'm on the new drug, plus I've chewed 12 pieces of Nicorette today just to help. Its worked thus far. I needed that gum today.

I'm doing alright, all my friends. Thanks so much for the posts and stories here. Never knew there were so many smoker FGFers. You all are a tremendous support system for me.
