I have an extra shifter..You may be able to use your existing shifter rods. There are numbers stamped on all of the rods. You will have to take a look and post results. I'll look at mine and compare.

The reason your trans tunnel is hacked up is because of the existing shifter offset as installed. You (may) have to buy a correct mounting plate as well.

I have a 69 Z/28 shifter in my HO right now. I bought 2 of the same shifter bodies and handles just cause. I have to sell the Camaro shifter and will likely pay for one of the replacements.

I have a picture of the correct shifter mount if needed. CI sells the complete shifter rod kit for $89. Has all the shifter rods and mounting plate. All you need is the shifter body/handle.
