First picture shows two vacuum ports off the choke pulloff. Cap one? The vacuum port on this right side is capped, I believe? Also, on someone's good advice here, I bought a new choke coil-rod-stove setup. This carb is a Carter QJet from a 69 400 manual, on my 67. The rod seems too long. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Second picture: two more vacuum ports on the front right -- ??? connection??. The accelerator rod hole is too small for my existing rod. I'm assuming it's a 69-67 quadrajet difference, but what I do know is that it needs to be drilled out a tiny bit. Also, where on the manifold does the accelerator spring attach? I know where it goes on the carb, but am I missing a bracket?
Final picture: Two ports in the manifold, both PVC? Is that a stock idiot light temp sender? There were two in the old Edelbrock intake, one for an aftermarket gauge.
If anyone sees anything out of whack (besides the fuel line not being hooked up and the carb not being tightened down -- waiting for my "crossover" carburetor base gasket -- I'm all ears! Thanks so much, and I can't wait to have her back on the road in another few days!
