the man who is in charge of the lot were terrys cars are will call me tomarrow ....as of tomarrow the rent lot rent is up and he just found out yesterday that terry passed away ... any how if you all wont the cars ill let you knwo how to get a hold of the man.
Having not been that well versed in what Terry had, I am a bit curious as to what kind of cars we are talking about.
Whole cars for projects or part donors?
Why types and years? Anything really desirable for restoring?
2012 Mustang Boss 302 #1918, Competition Orange. FGF replacement 2006 Mustang V6 Pony, Vista Blue. Factory ordered. 2019 BMW X3 (Titled to the wife, but I'm always driving it for her. So I'm claiming it) Old projects, gone but not forgotten: 1967 FB 400, original CA car. After 22 years of work, trashed by the guy who was supposed to paint it. I had to sell it. 1980 Turbo Trans Am 1970 Mustang fastback, 351C 4Bbl, auto 1988 Mustang GT, 5 speed 1983 F-150 4x4, built 302 1994 Chevy K2500 HD 4x4, 454 TBI
Terry had posted some pics over the years and it looked more or less like they all had been picked over. I'll see if I can find one of his old posts on here where he put up some pictures.
yes karen is in houston. bjorn. i dont know what cars are there in the lot i dont have any pictures. all i can do is let you call the man i spoke to about the lot he said the lot rent is up today. it was paid untill today terry paid him before he went on the cruise he said he said the only reason he will work with me is cause he really thought alot of terry. any how if your interested. let me know ill let you have his number. he is giving us a week to gt them out of there. if you need longer i can try and get it out of him ... ill speak to you all later
and no he said he would rather the whole car be taken he dosent wont any cars parted out on the lot ... he let terry slide cause he liked him lol any how speak to you all soon......
Not sure if this will be any help, but I live a couple of hours north of Coral Springs. If the lot owner is willing, I could stop by and take some pictures. As others have said, I don't have anything to gain by this and only want to be of some help. I already have a car I don't have time to finish. Lol. I always meant to do business with Terry, but never got around to it. Seems like he was a really great guy and I'll miss reading his postings. Just let me know what you think.
I would be interested to know if there were a vert body in there. Although getting possesion of the car and any sort of title or bill of sale sounds like a logistical nightmare unless the lot owner is able to take over ownership from default on rent. It doesn't sound like he wants the hassle either.
talked to the guy.. and he said in his opion there wasnt much left only one had the motor and trans and others would need serious rust repair. im sure pictures would help tho.
im in kc so getting one would be a big effort for me.
i hope someone maybe gets one of them and could use it.
one was a vert he said. all were picked over. maybe someone wanting a race car could use one of em?
I looked for some pictures but only found this video but he deleted it. I remember the video, it was stacks of rally II, rusted bodies and engines laying around uncovered and missing heads and carbs... I'm sure there is some things that could be used but I'm guessing he kept the good parts in his house. He also mentions his yard that he rented for storage.
sorry Jody , personally I have no interest in those cars...but maybe someone closer does...its going to take trailer etc to move them,,,plus Houston is far away from Lauderdale
his wife had only one interest and that was what she could get out of him she left 2 days after his memorial service nothing belongs to her. i worked out a deal with th guy who has the lot were the cars are. he said he would give every one a week ... the wife split town and went to michigan i dont wonna get in to that again i really dont but the only one in controll of the cars are the man who owns the lot turst me.....
So how does this work? Would people be drag cars out of there without buying them. I understand that a lot of them are probably junk, but who is determining value and if there is someone should that value go to Terry's estate, or a charity that would honor him. maybe any proceeds could go to a "firebird cause". Terry had a lot of his life invested with that stuff. Maybe it should go for a good cause to honor him. Terry had a lot of good parts, what happened to them? Realize this is in a fire sale mode at this point, but people could give a few dollars as they see fit. Has anyone thought about putting up rent for a month so it could move a bit slower? I would be willing to kick in a few bucks just so the place could get disposed of properly.
i can give you the mans number to talk to about it i am staying out of the money part you can call him....954 972 3400 his name is john. that is his ofice number i belive or cell just tell him jody gave you his number he is expecting yall to call
I live in wisconsin, and do not have a real understanding as to the situation. I just knew Terry from a few phone conversations. I was putting the idea out there for food for thought, but I am by no means in a position to understand what makes sense regarding the disposition of Terrys cars. It appears that others closer to the situation do have a better idea and if they feel it makes sense to try to support paying for the lot rent for a period of time I would be willing to put in some $$ but for me to get involved in making that happen would be like my trying to tell someone in China what house they should buy. I do not have enough understanding of the situation to know what makes sense. I was just putting the idea out there and if anyone believed it made sense who really understands the situation then they could run with it.
954 972 3400 hey zippy here is the mans number who has the cars that belong to terry. his name is john my number is 860 249 9906 call me i can tell you everything
looks like the only one usable yet is the white one with the engine in it. the rest ae candidates for the crusher indeed. wonder where the rest of terry's stuff is though!! he had alot of new parts inventory. anybody visit his house to c if anything is left of the parts?

due to budget cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been disconnected for non payment.

I think he meant to say " $6584 bjorn ", explaining how much it cost him...as I was questioning the cost... but I think $ becomes e- as a Euro sign on int`l computers
