Almost have everything stripped off the car and it's up on the roto.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. My pic is a little misleading. All that is left is front kick panels, carpet, console, wiring, doors, A/C heater unit, wiper motor, and top. Have to fish out the power window wiring before I can take the doors off.
Look at that bad boy...all came out in one chunk. Do broken frame bolts either!

Your coupe has less meat on it than my coupe. Did you actually use that shell? All that bad metal and the front cowl and dash are ok? Firewall must be gone at the bottom if you lost your front floor boards.

Your coupe has less meat on it than my coupe. Did you actually use that shell? All that bad metal and the front cowl and dash are ok? Firewall must be gone at the bottom if you lost your front floor boards. Front cowl and dash still looked like new. Floor boards rotted through on driver's side only. Were weak on passenger side, so we replaced those too. Trunk had a number of holes, could have been fixed. But was almost easier to replace the whole trunk pan. Rear quarters and wells were gone. Tail panel looked OK rust-wise, but must have been in a crash. Easier to replace than monkey with bent metal. And was easier to replace the one piece trunk pan with the tail panel out. I think cutting the whole rear off the shell and replacing the trunk and rear sheet metal only took a couple of days. The wonders of a good plasma cutter! And someone smarter than me doing the work helped too!  Once the front frame and rear end were blasted, they both looked like new. I REALLY need to get over to the body shop to see how the painting is coming along. Was supposed to be done this week or next. Just WAY TOO busy at work these days.

I used it to work on my 65 Pontiac (frame and body). Made life a lot easier! I have an air attachment that allows me to raise one or both ends using compressed air!
You know it was worth buying once you turn that car body over on the roto and look at the bottom of your car while your standing up.
