Im converting my 69 Sprint from auto to manual and in search of the correct pedal set and z bar linkage. Anything 67-69 Firebird V8 will work for linkage but pedals are year only as most of you know.
M, Keep track of what it all ends up costing you to gather all the parts. My guess is it'll be alot by the time you find it all piece by piece. I'd be curious to know.
What I did a few years ago was locate a 400 4-sp parts car, had to go to Houston to get it but was worth the money to have the whole car. I sold a set of pedals to a member here last year for $75 I believe so they are out there. I haven't decided if I'm going to stay auto or go manual but if I end up selling one of my last two cars I will have to decide then.

I got lucky when I converted mine from auto to manual, actually I was only toying with the idea when I found a box of parts at a swap meet tagged as "'69 firebird manual trans. parts". Inside was the bell housing, z-bar, pedals, push-rod, springs and a few other parts. All I needed was the trans. throw-out bearing and clutch. The box cost me $75.00. Made the decision easy. I did have to put new bushings on the pedals.
