I'd never paid attention to it, but after taking my intake off today I see that it has two PCV valves installed, on on the valve cover and one cover below the intake (intake valley pan?). Both run to a port on the intake, just in front of the carb. 67 firebird supplement shows one setup using the valve cover and one using a valve behind the carb I think.

Any reason that there would be two installed? If it matters, valve covers are the sealed type (no breather).

Originally there was a pvc valve in valley pan and the hole in valve cover was a tube that went to the breather connected to a little filter.

Alright, last question I think. What is the gasket between the water pump and intake called?

Need a vent into crankcase to evacuate fumes and pressure build up.

The Felpro intake gasket set comes with it. Napa part FPG MS9980 but the felpro set at napa cost 22.99. Summit is 13.97.

That is the only option I see where it is in the intake gasket sets. Maybe they can match up a o-ring from out of the kit.

Ya, only reason I asked was shipping from Ames was $10 on a $2 seal. I'll just order two from them.

Thanks again Harold.
