Does anyone have a picture or pictures of exactly how the 69 (not sure if all 1st gens are the same) wiring harness runs from the front to rear for the rear wiring harness and where it connects to the dash harness up front? It has been so long, about 4 years since I removed it all and I took some pictures but I cant find one that is good enough to tell where it connects and runs from the forward connection under the dash. Thanks in advance!

No pixs and a '67 here - but perhaps enough to get you started:

The connector should be near the drivers side kickpanel somewhat above the parking brake mechanism. The harness runs in a "channel" on the inside of the driver's side rocker panels under the carpet, the galvanized under carpet wire protector and of course the carpet. It runs over the rear wheel hump and into the trunk near the deck lid hinge. The harness for the dome light connects where the rear harness runs over the rear wheel hump just before it passes into the trunk.

Now you are really pressing my memory. Yes, definitely behind the kickpanel but on the side of the vent opening toward the door opening I think.

Thanks agian, that sounds about right from what I thought I remebered, but still wasnt sure. Just seems to be a little tight when you try to get the kick panel installed with that harness running down the side and under it. Anyone else have pics?? Thanks!

This is my 67 I bought. I could smell mice so I tore out the interior to replace it. The whole tulip panel was one solid nest. Anyway you can kinda see how the wiring goes from the channel up behind the kick panel.

That also solved my problem that I posted this morning. I tore my wiring out 7 years ago and now I'm trying to figure out how it all goes back!

Thanks for the pictures. It's exactly what I needed. My dome light wire harness clips broke so I had to discard them and I see they don't make those. I may need to just zip tie them up there.
