Need to replace my chewed up yoke. I've searched and searched and can't find the correct replacement yoke. All the ones that were close are about 1/2 inch too long. And most of them have the external clips and not the inside clips. I installed one of those and I only have 3/8" pull out from the back of the trans which makes me nervous. Word on the street is that you need about 3/4-1 inch pull out.

The only one I could find that is dimensionally correct is Spicer 2-3-4911X except it has the external clips. So I ordered that one from Summit and it is on back order. I also ordered a spicer 5-3022-1X combo u joint to use it with my stock drive shaft.

Anybody know where I can get a new dimensionally correct muncie trans yoke? It needs to be about 5 inches to the centers of the u joint cups and use the GM 3R series U joint.

Not sure if this is the right yoke but maybe Denny’s has something.

Thanks. That’s the one I’ve got on there now. It’s 5.5 inches to the center of the u joint cups. I need about 5 inches.

That’s the one I ordered from Summit along with a combo u joint. Hopefully that will work out or else I will shorten the driveshaft by 1/2”

I can’t help with your yoke issue but I was wondering what that elect box/switch thing is that is on the shifter bracket in your picture? Backup light switch?

I ended up getting a high end ($200+) yoke from Denny’s. The spicer one from summit is on permanent back order. I got the last one of these.
