I've been told the plugs pictured above are accessories, so I guess there not used on my car. I've removed and cleaned all tail lights, they all work. I haven't cleaned the connectors to the front turn signals but both light when you turn the lights on.

Sounds like a ground problem. When you use the turn signal, do you hear the flasher working?
