Speaking of fuel lines...i just recently added a return and ran it over the top of the crossmember on the pass side in the engine bay. Well when I dropped the engine back in and bolted the headers up, well guess what? The #2 header pipe sat pretty much right on top of the return line. Let me tell you there wasn't a whole lot of wiggle room after eveything was installed. I was able to bend it out of the way some but I would've run it much closer along to the frame horns that hold the upper control arms if I had known there was going to be an issue. Just by way of information in the event anyone else is planning to install the same.

I would say they are better but I thought....the steele lasted 45 years. So the new ones will out last me.

Agree. No winters (or even rain for that matter) for me. Steel will last just fine.

Trouble with stainless is it can be very tough to flare the ends.
