I'd be careful speculating what was different on a car via just a name & price difference on the invoice. The 348 code equalled an RPO code and both of those were defined and fixed in the system. Way too early to call on this one.....
Of course, it would help me if y'all would spell out the differences between the two options (RA and HO) for me, the Firebird uninformed.
No difference at all.... That's why 'the call'... It's just that some people would like to exclude certain cars as RA because they didn't have a functional hood. The main weakness in their thinking is the hood was the least of the ram air components. All 348 cars had the same engine. Some had the functional hood if they were ordered that way(611).
