I agree that the first sample is definitely a RA III. I have no doubts. And the second is a classic 400 HO. Both very respectable packages.

We do of course want as many invoices as possible, from as many dates and plants as possible. But I have not seen ANYTHING that refutes that all RAIII cars had the fresh air system, and all HOs did not. With that and the carb being the only significant differences, it will be difficult to find unmolested examples to confirm but I am sure they are out there.
