The "repair"? Education. And I mean REAL education, not indoctrination. You know, the OBJECTIVE presentation of ALL "known facts" in a given subject, allowing the student to make up their own mind about the subject. The problem of late seems to be the "objective" and "all" portions are too often left out.

yup, like we had in the 50s in Sweden.....education with real teachers, tests with scores, resposibility....its a rough world, you wont be prepared for it if your whole upbringing you`re treated with kid gloves.
but you wont get 100% of that because of the 'separation of church and state" which many read as NO talk about religion in school....thats wrong, education includes education about religion(s), all kinds...back when I was in school there was a study called "christianity" ,but it entailed studies of ALL religions...for better understanding of others....actually an importat feature of school...imho
