Actually, in the battlegrond states there are large numbers of undecided voters, about 5-13% depending on the poll. Plus there are many Democrats disenchanted with Obama (perhaps more than 20%). When polled they may lie to polsters for fear of who is taking the poll (their union, local Democrats, etc.). There are many unhappy Joe the Plumbers and Hillary supporters. I believe this election is going to be much closer than the mainstream media is predicting.
The Mccain campaign is finally running some ads in the battleground states that will really make voters think before pulling the Obama lever. The Jeremiah Wright ad is stunning.
