Although I believe McCain was foolish to acknowledge Hagee's support, it is Hagee, not McCain, who made that statement. Just as Falwell made the preceding statement. And McCain is not a member of Hagee's congregation. There is a big difference.

Neither of them are running for President. Come up with something more substantial and factual.

I think that Obama was well packaged, and his "soft and gentle" approach, with strong oratory, is enough to cause a lot of people to abandon common sense and listen to the delivery, not the content.
