It most definitely is an issue (not an angle). Undermining constitutional rights is one of the most significant threats to this nation.
LOL You are stretching way out there and scared like a sheep! Watch out for the fear tactics like what got us in Iraq. Don't let the fear tactics effect your logic. And Vikki, If your 'small business' can't operate on a taxible income, after all the bills are paid, of $250K a year, then you might as well hang it up. Because if you are clearing less than that you will not be effected by the proposed new tax laws.
If my small business brought me an AGI of $250,000 I would be happy. It doesn't. That's why I have two other businesses. To say that I will not be affected is not accurate. If my customers are affected, so am I. And right now they are all hurting due to the auto industry situation.
I suppose I'd be more agreeable to discussion of higher taxes in good years if I was likewise credited for bad years. If we run in the red or minimally profitable for 5 years and then have one good year, we are heavily penalized that one good year, and can't break even.
QUOTE: If my customers are affected, so am I You have made a great argument for 'Trickle Down Economics' that we have been waiting to see if it works for 8 years now. Newsflash; It doesn't work!
