Put all the conservative vs liberal, promises vs promises, experience vs experience aside. This about sums it up for me. I heard it read on radio today and just now a friend from out east sent it to me.
"You have to pinch yourself - a Marxist radical who all his life has been mentored by, sat at the feet of, worshiped with, befriended, endorsed the philosophy of, funded and been in turn funded, politically promoted and supported by a nexus comprising black power anti-white racists, Jew-haters, revolutionary Marxists, unrepentant former terrorists and Chicago mobsters, is on the verge of becoming President of the United States. And apparently it's considered impolite to say so." - Melanie Philips, The Spectator (UK) 10
I can understand the urge to vote for Obama for political reasons. I just don't understand how people can vote for him knowing his circle of friends.
Look Jim, Anyone can selectively pick from your life experiences and twist them into an ugly paragraph like this. It's really sad to take a few things about a person who has given so much to the greater good of everyone he has touched in his career and spin them into garbage. Nothing but smears without any substance. And smears are always impolite.....
