You have it wrong...our crisis came when we had a booming business, 6 employees, production facility...then came the late '90s...October 27, 1997. We tried to ride it out, leveraged everything we owned to try to keep it going, and pay the wages of 6 employees without commensurate sales, and we are still paying for it now. If we had immediately ditched our employees we'd have been fine, but that's not the right thing to do. Clintonomics...
We downsized, and unless things stabilize we will not expand. The economy is far too flaky to invest in growing a business.
