This country needs people with belief in free economy, needs people with work ethic, needs people who will take a chance at failure because there is a reward for success. Penalize (tax) my success, and why should I bother?
Well said as I see from my skewed perspective too many people expecting a free handout or free ride anyway they can get it. Anything to continue to contribute to this type of thinking / behavior will only negatively impact everyone working to try to get more for themselves and their family.
