Do you honestly think most Politicans get elected to advance the common man? BS! If you'll notice, there's not any poor politicans in Washington, and they all say (repub or Demo) that they'll help the poor and middle class if elected.
But this time just maybe it was the middle class majority saying they think that Obama will actually do it. It's not all about gimme gimme, it's about opportunity. Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime.
based on how "they" (because I voted differently) voted in Sweden in the 50`s ,60`s...it was the same thing....'gimme'...everybody wanted more, social deomocrat party promised more and more...."how much can you bribe people"? how many? the whole population... but after a point thers nothing more to "give", or promise... this time Obama supporters 'believe' he is going to give it to them , whatever it means...fairness, more money, more jobs, better health care , whatever...can he deliverall that? not without MASSIVE taxes....then the tide will turn...WTF ,where`s my money? wheres my job? etc...
